Qantas is the the national airline of Australia. Qantas was founded in Winton, Queensland in 16 November 1920. The name was originally “QANTAS”, an acronym for “Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services”.
Qantas unveiled its new logo in July 2007. The change to the logo was prompted due to the changes in the structure of the tail of the aircrafts. Qantas took this opportunity to make the design of their new logo a little more contemporary.
Some of the changes in the new logo are below
1. The feet of the kangaroo are more visible and do not appear to touch the ground.
2. The tail of the kangaroo appears to be pointed more upwards than before.
3. The italicized font of the airline ‘Qantas’ is different and shows a more significant lean.
History of Qantas Logos
I have produced this to show how the shape of the Coca-Cola bottle has changed over the company’s history. In relation to the bottle shape, I have linked the Coca-Cola logos to the bottle shape that was in the same era as the specific logo.
The actual founder of Cadillac is Henry Ford (founder of Ford).
After Henry left the company, his financial backers tried to close down the company assets, but an engineer, Henry M.Leland persuaded them to continue the company instead. Soon, Cadillac was born.
The company name Cadillac was named after Henry M.Leland ancestor, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac and the logo was inspired by the family coat of arms from Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac family.

Cadillac Logo History
KFC was created by Colonel Sanders, who became the emblem of the logo in a stylized version since the creation of the 1st logo. Year after year, the emblem is redesigned to be more and more nice and friendly!
After 26 years, the first logo was redesigned: the ribbon bow tie appears shorter and the fonts on the words «Kentucky Fried Chicken» were changed. The third version of the logo was designed in 1991: the words were changed to “KFC” instead of “Kentucky Fried Chicken”. The word changes were mainly due to the different marketing direction that KFC was trying to approach. The “Fried” sounds too fatty and was taken out from the logo and replaced by the word “KFC”. KFC emblem went through design changes again in 1997: Colonel Sanders appears friendly in this version, we can see his teeth! From 2006, the latest version of KFC emblem was born: The Legendary KFC Colonel got stripped off his white suit! Relax! He got an all new red apron. This new version could reinforce the sentiment of good quality, home cooked food, and of course the fact that the Colonel devised the secret recipe himself. This new logo is expected to be more captivating for the sensibilities of the new generation customers.
After reading this post and looking at the various logos of KFC , I was reminded of my trip to Japan. I would like to share this pic with you all .
